The Role

As a Front Office Supervisor on the night shift, you will be reporting to the Safety and Security Manager. You will be an important member of a team that creates an atmosphere of safety, while exceeding guest expectations, each and every shift. Primary responsibilities include conducting safety and fire inspections, investigations of disturbances and/or theft, enforcing hotel and staff residence regulations, providing first aid to guests or staff as required, assisting the Safety and Security Manager with WCB claims, reviewing the Night Audit daily generated reports, leading the First Response team in the overnights in the absence of senior leadership, and training all front office night staff.

A minimum of one year in the front office area of hotels is required. Computer literacy is imperative, and a diploma or degree in a recognized Hospitality Administration program is an asset. Top candidates will hold their First Aid and CPR certification along with an Alberta Security License, and will have previous experience in luxury resorts. You must be self-directed, and be comfortable speaking to all levels of leadership and guests and assisting with solving problems using creative solutions.
