Job Duties:

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for weekly food preparation
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys; Prepare and submit reports
• Establish weekly work schedules and adjust work procedures if needed
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Supervise kitchen operation and help other workers on checking the special diet requests, such as allergies, etc.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers’ complaints or concerns
• and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Help other restaurant workers if situation needed
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
• May plan menus and determine related food and labor costs
• May assist in hiring food service staff.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $15.50-$17.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

Licence/Certification:

• Smart Serve (preferred)
