Job Summary:

As an experienced Dispatcher or Flight Follower, you will be part of our dynamic Flight Operational Control Center. You will oversee the administrative scheduling and dispatching of all Summit aircraft, ensuring that all aspects of the flights are in accordance with company procedures, planning and monitoring throughout all flight phases.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch all aircraft on a daily basis
  • Ensure compliance with company and Transport Canada regulations
  • Check flight plans for completeness and accuracy
  • Review and maintain flight logs and other reports
  • Brief flight crews prior to departure and provide pilots with information essential to aviation safety
  • Contact crew prior to flights to ensure awareness of upcoming flight schedule
  • Delay or cancel flights as warranted
  • Manage and update charter logs, flight and flight duty times, pilot availability reports, and inspection schedules

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dispatching role or similar position required
  • Valid Air Operator Radio License considered an asset
  • Transport Canada Flight Dispatch Generic Exams an asset
  • Analytical and organized, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • Must be willing to relocate to Yellowknife, NT
