Description

We have a 4 month contract opportunity for a Financial Analyst with a high profile client. This position has the possibility of going long term and is best suited for a hands-on person who will be involved in the following functions:

• Month end close
• Variance analysis
• Management reports to multiple divisions
• Update centralized data files
• Support budgeting and forecasting across the organization including modeling, costing and other analysis
• Prepare and present Power Point presentations to senior leadership and manage all follow up action items.
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will be a designated accountant CPA, (CA/CGA/CMA). You have experience with:

• long-range financial modeling
• strong technical analysis
• performance indicators
• data analysis
• variance analysis and trend analysis.
  

You are a dynamic individual, who is very hands-on, a critical thinker, are known for your attention to detail, and can evaluate models from a strategic perspective. You have excellent communication skills and can work efficiently and proactively. You have great interpersonal skills coupled with a proven work ethic and initiative to undertake any ad hoc assignments.
