Type of position: Regular
Responsibilities
- Work with the Off-Grid and Energy Storage Director in developing the business line market strategy
- Promote the growth of off-grid power system and energy storage services
- Support business development activities on a national scale
- Coordinate with academic circles for collaborative research projects
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, responses to EOIs and RFPs and contractual agreements
- Participate in project execution, as engineer, and in project management
- Promote internal visibility of off-grid power and energy storage services and expertise
- Prepare, manage and execute client action plans for new and existing clients
- Generate and maintain action priority lists with key BBA stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Control Engineering
- 5 to 15 years of experience in the Energy or Mining sectors
- Good understanding of the renewable energy and energy storage business
- Understanding of the power utility and mining industries
- Ability to assemble and motivate teams to execute action plans
- Ability to find and seed project opportunities
- Capability to work with remote colleagues in different locations and time zones
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written (English and French)
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
