Role And Responsibilities

Rôle et Responsabilités

• Élaborer des logiciels pour simuler les aéronefs militaires, ce qui consiste en la mise en œuvre de composants logiciels orientés objets principalement dans le langage C++ dans le but de reproduire le comportement de l’aéronef en temps réel. Cela comprend la simulation de signaux numériques et analogiques des boîtiers avioniques se trouvant dans l’appareil de vol.
• Participer à toutes les phases du développement qu’il s’agisse de l’analyse des problèmes, de la définition des besoins, de la conception, de la mise en œuvre, des essais informels, du troubleshooting et de l’intégration, en plus d’appuyer les utilisateurs.
  

Exigences

• Baccalauréat en ingénierie ou en informatique.
• Expérience requise : Nouveau gradué (0-2 ans).
• Connaissance des langages informatiques suivants : C++, C# (un atout), Java (un atout) et FPGA (un atout).
• Aptitude à travailler au sein d’une équipe et à interagir avec différents groupes multidisciplinaires.
• Aptitude à communiquer en français et en anglais (à l’oral et à l’écrit) sur des sujets techniques.
  

Atouts

• Connaissances en aéronautique ou en avionique, un atout.
• Expérience en développement de logiciels en simulation temps réel.
  

Requis Opérationnels

• Doit être éligible à l’enregistrement au programme des marchandises contrôlées.
• Doit être éligible à l’obtention et au maintien de la cote de fiabilité du gouvernement du Canada, et de la cote de sécurité niveau 2 (secret).
• Les travaux seront effectués majoritairement à Mirabel (occasionnellement à Ville Saint Laurent). Le lieu de travail principal n’est pas accessible via les transports en commun. Une voiture est requise.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop software to simulate military aircraft, which consists in the implementation of object-oriented software components mainly in C++ language for the purpose of reproducing the behaviour of the aircraft in real-time. This includes the simulation of digital and analog signals of the various avionics boxes included in the aircraft.
• Participate all phases of the development spanning problem analysis, requirements definition, design, implementation, informal testing, troubleshooting and integration, and in the support to the user’s community.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Required Experience: New graduate (0-2 years).
• Knowledge of the following computer languages is an asset: C++, C# (an asset), Java (an asset) and FPGA (as asset).
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different multidisciplinary groups.
• Ability to communicate in French and English (spoken and written) on technical subjects.
  

Assets

• Knowledge of aeronautics and/or avionics is an asset
• Experience in real-time simulation software.
  

Operational Requirements

• Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program.
• Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
• Work will be performed mostly in Mirabel (occasionally in Saint-Laurent). Main work location is not accessible via public transportation. A car is needed.
