Enerstrux is looking for a professional and experienced foreman to lead and contribute to the onsite installation of proprietary equipment in the food industry. This is an ideal position for a motivated and experienced individual with a passion for multi-disciplinary construction in a fast-paced environment. This position requires initiative, attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, and great communication skills.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Participate in projects from conception to commissioning
• Oversee and contribute to the installation of new proprietary systems and/or equipment
• Responsible for managing site progress, trades, and all items pertaining to the construction process.
• Contribute at Enerstrux in the assembly and fabrication of proprietary systems prior to shipment to the site for final installation.
• Review project drawings and specifications to gain a full understanding of the project
• Oversee the activities and performance of subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Assist in developing best construction practices and implementing them on-site.
• Preparation of daily on-site schedules
• Resolve worksite issues quickly and effectively to keep work progress on track
• Provide a daily report of site conditions
• Be an ambassador for Enerstrux during site visits, correspondence, and interactions with vendors and business affiliates.
• Proactively recognize site requirements ensuring adequate time is allotted for acquiring materials and or labour for work to be completed.
• Communicate respectfully with both the Enerstrux team, customers, vendors, and subcontractors which contributes to a desirable working environment.
• Travelling required

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 10+ Years of construction experience
• Industrial construction work experience
• Strong communication skills
• You are highly collaborative and team-oriented
• You work well with little direction but know when to ask for help and keep your team informed
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Problem solver with strong analytical skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
