Accounts receivable / Dental Financial Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Entering payments into the system

• Optimizes Clinic appointment book to achieve weekly and monthly revenue budgets.

• Managing all the adjustment types in the books.

• Provide the clinic with administrative and practical support when requested.

• Process the accounts receivable and accounts payable of the practice.

• Gather and accurately record medical, personal, and insurance information from patients; ensure this information is updated.

• Accurately file patient information, seeing that records are stored securely and handled in compliance with privacy and security regulations.

• Apply insurance payments, and insurance inquiries.

• Send/track, daily/weekly deposit reports.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 2 years of previous experience managing accounts receivable is desired

• Experience working with Dentrix or any dental software is a must.

• Good interpersonal and verbal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members, and community; a team player.

• Customer service or patient relations experience; conflict resolution experience.

• Able to adapt to and drive office policy improvements (office is constantly striving for improved customer care/service).
