AGM Renovations has been serving the GTA for over 20 years, specializing in basement and bathroom renovations. We are rapidly growing and are seeking to have an accounts payable clerk join our team. We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, has strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The position will be reporting to the controller.

Job Responsibilities

• Enter supplier and subcontractor accounts payable invoices into the system and file unpaid and paid invoices
• Match invoices to PO’s and verify invoices comply to price list and quantities to job scope
• Investigate discrepancies with project managers
• Complete and reconciles supplier statements
• Prepare journal entries
• Prepare weekly payment schedules and set up EFT’s
• Prepare the monthly entry for credit card payment
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as an accounts payable clerk at a construction company
• 2 years experience with QuickBooks online
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, decision making, and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to reprioritize tasks according to timelines
• Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or related discipline is required
