Accounting Technician

We are seeking an Accounting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, financial services, account analysis, financial acumen, clerk, data entry and accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Prepare journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations
• Provide support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

• Accounting: 2 years (required)
