The Ideal Candidate
The Account Manager is someone who is passionate about supporting companies in gaining brand recognition and empowering their business to grow. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and has strong customer service experience which enables them to develop quotes and source products that result in high customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. The ideal candidate works well independently and takes initiative to develop new business relationships.

Accountabilities

  • Supports the other Account Manager and Owner in communicating with clients in a clear and timely manner,
  • Facilitates the entire client lifecycle through developing quotes, managing inventory, sourcing products, producing graphics and creative content, processing orders, and delivering the final products to clients,
  • Demonstrates skills in digital marketing through developing content for Big Wish Marketings social media platforms,
  • Attends networking events to develop new relationships on behalf of Big Wish Marketing.

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in administration, communications, or marketing is required.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Self-starter and self-motivator; ability to work with little supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid “G” class driver’s license.

Hours

The schedule will be Monday through Friday, totaling 30 hours per week. Training will take place primarily in-person in Guelph. Following the training period, the Account Manager is able to work flexibly in a hybrid schedule (i.e. partly remote and partly in the office in Guelph) that is mutually agreed upon between the incumbent and the owner. When final products are ready, the Account Manager will receive additional compensation to make deliveries to clients within their scheduled hours.

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation (starting between $20-25/hour) based on experience. Additionally, we offer 10% commission to the Account Manager for all new business they bring into the company.
