IT Technician

About the Opportunity

We are looking to add an IT Technician to our growing Vancouver Island branches. This position is based out of our Victoria Office, but you will also be required to maintain a bi-weekly presence at our Courtenay Office. Working alongside our team of IT professionals, you will carry out a variety of duties in computer software and hardware support services as well as some computer programming/scripting. You will be a first point of contact for the Victoria and Courtenay branch staff.

In this role, you will get to contribute to our team by:

• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting PC’s, Windows servers, printers, network devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Providing technical support to staff.
• Installing and supporting common office and engineering software applications.
• Participating in capital planning for your offices.
• Demonstrating a commitment to learning through the ongoing achievement of personal and professional goals.

About You

Our ideal candidate is someone with 5+ years of related experience and a graduate of a Computer Technology diploma program. Applicant should have experience in administering a Microsoft environment, Cisco CLI experience would be considered an asset.
