Are you our next IT Support Technician (Onsite)?

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technicianto provide frontline IT support and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be working onsite during office hours and will have strong expertise in Windows operating systems (10/11), Microsoft Office Suite, and ITIL service desk systems. They should have a customer focused attitude, and a solid understanding of IT service management principles and be capable of handling user requests efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and direction to office and remote staff on IT systems while providing a high level of quality customer service.
  • Provide onsite technical support for Windows operating systems (10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite, and other business applications.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to end-users, enhancing their understanding of software and hardware functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Assist in the installation of desktop computer solutions.
  • Assist in the IT configuration and onboarding for new hires.
  • Utilize ITIL-based service desk system to manage and respond to IT support tickets effectively.
  • Escalate issues, when needed, to the IT Manager to assist in resolution.
  • Maintain documentation on technical procedures and user guides.
  • Stay informed about the latest IT trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve existing systems.

What You Bring:

· Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a technical related discipline.

· A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with computer applications/technology and in providing front line user support.

· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Windows operating systems (10/11), Microsoft Office Suite, and ITIL service desk systems.

· Experience in Linux system administration and support is preferred.

· Ability to quickly and accurately analyze information and exercise sound judgment and practical thinking.

· Ability to translate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.

· Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work within a team and independently.
