IT Network and Client Support
Frontline technical support of hardware and software for all the organization’s computer systems including Servers, Clients, Switches, Routers, Wireless-Hard Wired and Printers

Installation and configuring computer hardware and operating systems and application software

Frontline support for staff and student PCs, notebooks, desktops, printers, operating systems, and applications including the LMS

Frontline server and client level software support

Frontline support of VOIP system

Frontline support of projection equipment and smart board technology in support of Frontline support, troubleshoot and repair laser printers and MFPs

Imaging student notebook computers for connected learning via the LMS

Provide technical support to employees, both onsite and remotely

Capable of troubleshooting and repairing client devices - hardware and software

classroom management and delivery of the curriculum

Responsible for network server and client security

Recommend improvements to equipment including cost-saving measures

Other duties as assigned

Attributes/Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization

Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results

Industry certifications are an asset

Salary: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year

Education:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Experience:

  • Network support in 25+ employee environment: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • industry recognized certifications? (preferred)
