Mostly remote work - This fast-growing internet company is looking for a Helpdesk Engineer to join the global IT department. The Helpdesk Engineer role is a brand new role reporting to a manager overseas, and will be the only internal IT person covering all of North America (US/Canada) and South America with around 50 users or so, with the occasional global support. As such, this person will need to be experienced in a similar role with capability of working self-sufficiently.

As the company is experiencing fast growth, you’ll be able to develop yourself and your skills through many of the ongoing projects that you’ll be a part of. You will be supporting many different technologies that have been added along the years. There is also internal mobility within the company for your career development.

This is a full-time position that includes a competitive base salary, variable bonus, extended health and dental benefits, and paid vacation.

Requirements

Here are some of the items that you’ll bring to the table for this role:

[-] 3+ years of experience in a similar IT support role

[-] Self-sufficient and proficient with Windows, Active Directory, Google G-Suite, preferably Mac and Linux as well.

[-] Great interpersonal skills and desire to add value to internal customers

[ VISA / RELOCATION SUPPORT ]

[-] Preference will be given to candidates who are currently in Vancouver with proper working permission to work in Canada

[-] No relocation or VISA sponsorship support will be offered for this role
