You will be providing a superior experience through engaging clients in conversations, using active listening skills and effective probing questions to identify & understand our clients’ immediate and future investment needs as well as their short and long-term financial goals. With client experience in mind, you will provide tailored financial advice, digital education and suggest products and services to meet the needs of a diverse client base. This is a full-time and shift oriented role with an opportunity to potentially work from home.What will you do?- Identify needs short and long-term needs, offering value-added advice, and taking accountability for the resolution of customer concerns.
- Respond to emails from our clients, delivering financial advice designed to satisfy clients’ total financial services needs and build long-term relationships.
- Provide an exceptional degree of customer care at all times, ensuring clients receive the optimal service at a level that meets their needs, either personally or by referring them to the appropriate sales partner.
- Take ownership for all investment-related inquiries, including Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs) and mutual funds.
- Be Available to work shift hours from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST; Saturday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM EST
- Proactively and diligently enable clients to digitally self-serve and buy.
- Ability to work independently, temporary working from home with proven time management, organizational and problem solving skills
- Must be able to meet with the technological requirements for the role (i.e. private and quiet space, Internet connectivity) and must live within maximum 1 hour commuting distance from one of the Advice Centres or Hubs
- Investment Funds of Canada (IFIC)completed and still valid or in the process of obtaining it by training start date
- Customer Service experience and strong sales orientation with a passion for fulfilling on client needs.
- Information seeking skills; the ability to probe, find out more and improve your understanding of a client’s situation or issue.
- Strong communication skills French and English
- Take ownership of & enjoy delivering a positive client experience in each client conversation.
- Team player, driven to ensure that the whole RBC team is successful in meeting client needs.

- Se charger de toutes les questions portant sur les placements, y compris les certificats de placement garanti (CPG) et les fonds communs de placement.
- Fournir en tout temps un service à la clientèle exceptionnel et veiller à ce que les clients reçoivent les meilleurs services qui soient en fonction de leurs besoins, en s’en occupant personnellement ou en les adressant au partenaire de vente le mieux en mesure de les servir.
- Disponibilité pour différents quarts de travail tous les jours de la semaine, de 8 h à 23 h
- Inviter et aider les clients à utiliser les technologies numériques libre-service pour leurs opérations et leurs achats de services.
- Avoir réussi le cours sur le Fonds d’investissement au Canada.
- Prendre en charge la prestation d’une expérience positive lors de chaque conversation avec un client.
- Compétences en recherche d’information et capacité d’obtenir des précisions sur le cas ou le problème du client, de manière à mieux comprendre la situation
- Solides aptitudes pour la communication, expérience de travail avec les partenaires de service et connaissance manifeste des produits de placement de RBC.
- Licence de fonds mutuels
- Motivation, enthousiasme et confiance en soi ; sens des responsabilités et excellentes aptitudes en communication
- Esprit d’équipe, désir d’aider l’ensemble de l’équipe de RBC à répondre aux besoins des clients
- Connaissance des caractéristiques et des avantages d’une vaste gamme de produits et de services, et capacité de les communiquer aux clients
