DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst to join our client’s team on a contract/temporary basis. As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding inventory levels, identifying losses, overages, and shortages, and implementing strategies to optimize their inventory system’s efficiency.

• Analyze and assess overstock items, identifying which products are contributing to excessive inventory levels.
• Monitor and track inventory levels to identify and resolve discrepancies, losses, and shortages.
• Collaborate with the inventory team to clean up and organize inventory records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to improve overall efficiency and reduce waste.
• Work closely with various departments to understand inventory requirements and make informed decisions regarding stock levels.
• Generate comprehensive reports on inventory performance and present findings to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data.
• Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in inventory management or related field.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and present findings to management.
