Reporting to the Corporate Director of Internal Audit, the Internal Auditor supports his/her manager by contributing his/her expertise in external control and participates in the application of the internal audit plan. In addition, you will participate in the development of best practices in financial management and ensure the follow-up of mechanisms for the prevention and detection of unethical practices.

Your Responsibilities

The Internal Auditor will have the following responsibilities:
  • Participate in the implementation of the internal audit plan to ensure compliance with laws and regulations with adequate documentation
  • Participate in the implementation of an effective control structure to reduce business risks inherent to operations and fraud
  • Implement and monitor mechanisms to prevent and detect unethical or fraudulent practices or behaviors
  • Put your expertise in internal control to work for the company
  • Contribute to annual external audits
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in financial management, sales, administration and management accounting in accordance with Cascades orientations

The Internal Auditor will possess many of the following qualifications and skills:
  • A high level of integrity to accompany and advise business partners
  • An exemplary rigor in management
  • A strong sense of organization and priorities
  • A facility to accompany and advise business partners in the analysis of their needs and the search for solutions
  • The great ability to listen necessary to quickly understand the needs and issues
  • The ability to overcome ambiguities and complex situations
  • A good command of French and basic English
  • Good command of the Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software (an asset)
