Led by the strength of our values and a culture shaped by employee ownership, we network with each other, build on each other’s contributions and collaborate to make great things possible.Watch Our Story:’ https://www.hdrinc.com/our-story’HDR’s Vancouver studio is in search of a Intermediate Intern Architect- Healthcare to join our growing practice and continue the legacy of providing creative design solutions that improve health and the human condition.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Intermediate Intern Architect- Healthcare, we’ll count on you to:- Independently evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documents
- Independently perform architectural assignments with only general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager regarding the expected results
- Work directly with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures
- Write specifications covering architectural matters and perform code reviews
- Assist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural process
- Perform other duties as needed
- Can self-start, think ahead, and are strongly committed to team-based project design and delivery.
- Can be resourceful, flexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities.
- Are detailed oriented and proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes like BIM360, Navisworks, dRofus & Dynamo.
- Can provide graphic support for presentations, reports and project presentations.
- Have project co-ordination experience with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities having jurisdiction.
- Have 3-7 years’ post graduate experience on a variety of project scales and complexities.
- Hold a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- Healthcare experience preferred
- “Must be registered with the AIBC or eligible to register with the AIBC”
- Have a positive attitude and commitment to be an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
