The Independent Sales Agentwill work with an internal team of Sales Leadership, Customer Service, Creative and Purchasing experts who will support them in driving new account acquisitions and managing existing accounts. This person ideally brings a book of existing accounts from a well-established sales career along with a proven track record of sales success within the Ottawa Valley and surrounding area. They have a good reputation with business owners to partner and be solution oriented.

The Position

• Manages and develops existing accounts while driving new account acquisition in assigned region.
• Consistently achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Business owner at heart to anticipate sales goals and plan for success.
• Comfortable leading the creative process to create either an in stock or custom packaging order. Inquisitive and interested in asking the right questions to ensure the packaging end-result supports the customers’ expectations in all aspects.
• Responsible for managing a customer’s packaging order from start to finish. Including the preparation and submission of custom quote requests.
• Communicates and partners with the Customer Service Team to ensure approved samples, Customer-supplied artwork and Customer approvals are received in a timely manner.
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships internally to ensure the successful achievement of Customer orders.
• Attend 2 tradeshows a year in Toronto at the International Centre – January and August.
