I am hiring for an experienced Human Resource Manager for one of our clients in the automotive industry, based out of Mississauga. This person will be the HR lead for the company. If you are interested or know of someone who will be, please refer them to me.

Position:Human Resource Manager

Location:Mississauga ONSITE 100% of the time

Salary:$85k+

Vaccine Policy:Fully Vaccinated, DBL dose

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CHRL or CHRP is a definite asset.

• At least 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience, including plant-level HR experience.

• Prior experience in automotive or manufacturing is an asset.

• Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.

• Knowledge of ISO9001 or IATF and ISO 14001 is an asset.

• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company; ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the strategic business partner within the company in creating and leading HR solutions to ensure overall performance within the company.

• Provide HR support in new initiative rollouts in the form of innovative ideas, communication, change management, and thought partnership.

• Partner with the plant leadership and business partners to drive talent management and performance management, which includes succession planning, training and development, performance review completion, conflict resolution etc.

• Handle full-cycle recruitment for all salaried and hourly positions.

• Drives Engagement programs and initiatives for the company and assist with planning and organizing plant events.

• Provide coaching to managers and supervisors regarding employee relations, difficult conversations, conflict resolution, and process improvements.

• Conduct workplace investigations and report out on findings as needed.

• Conduct research into personnel programs, policies and activities and employment law and recommend strategies, changes or innovations where appropriate.

• Ensure compliance with employment related laws (e.g. ESA and OHSA)

• Manage WSIB claims and ensure the related employee receives suitable modified work offer and the Graduated Return to Work program is being followed.
