Human Resource Coordinator

ProResp (London, Ontario)

Full-time, Permanent (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)

Salary: Competitive rate TBD (based on experience)

This is a role in a growing company requiring an individual with a minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a HR capacity. This is an excellent opportunity that will partner you to a multi-disciplined team of HR professionals as you assist with the coordination of various HR processes and priorities. Working from our head office in London Ontario, you will be supporting multiple Ontario locations managing competing priorities and multiple deadlines.

Preferred Skills and abilities:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledgeable of standard human resource practices relating to Privacy, Human Rights, AODA, and Employment Standards Act.
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in an HR role.
  • Excellent multi-tasking capabilities; proven ability to handle a busy office environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Solid Microsoft and HRIS skills; previous experience using an ATS considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment maintaining attention in detail.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality service to internal customers in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Coordination of internal HR practices including report generation and tracking.
  • Taking ownership in the coordination of HR processes and projects.
  • Assisting new employees with the onboarding process, including preparing documents, offer presentation, coordinating orientation agendas and training.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with the coordination and delivery of hiring activities.
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned by the HR Manager

Essential Duties:
  • Defined generally as physically sedentary, further detailed information available
  • English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing); situational sensitivity with patients, families, and referral sources
  • Memory, attention to detail/concentration, ability to accommodate change, responsible decision making

Hours of work: 37.5hrs per week - Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with 30minute unpaid lunch. Some flexibility in hours may be required to meet business needs.

Education:Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
