Robert Half has partnered with one of Kitchener’s growing organizations in their search for a new HR Manager. Reporting into the senior leadership, you will be a part of a forward thinking team in Kitchener, helping to maintain a high level of employee satisfaction and helping to mentor and lead other managers and team members to achieve their full potential. This is a permanent, stand alone position where you will have the opportunity to shape the human resources department. • Set policy and set practices
• Review and update job descriptions
• Performance reviews
• Collaborate with department managers for hiring plans/process,/templates
• lead investigations
• Collaborate with senior leadership to create new HR related policies
• Create discipline system and help department leaders to implement Implement and administer employee policies and promote positive employee relations
• Manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes that could increase productivity
• Be well-versed in laws and regulations regarding hiring and discipline Developing programs to maintain morale Manage Health and Safety
  

Requirements

• Post secondary education in a related field
• CHRP or CHRL designation an asset
• 3 or more years of experience as an HR Professional
• Leadership experience is an asset
