As a Customer Service Representative for CAA Home and Auto, you will be responsible for assisting members over the telephone and via email by providing information related to billing and by processing payments on their insurance policies. You will also be expected to recognize scenarios that require the attention of a licensed agent and direct accordingly. You will provide service excellence in all communications with members, corporate clients, and all other stakeholders.

What does your typical day look like?

• Answer inbound calls and emails related to CAA insurance policies
• Process payments and billing-related transactions for members
• Provide payment information on insurance products to members
• Document all communications & actions in the policy management system
• Direct members to licensed agents when appropriate
• Monitor team mailbox and respond/take action accordingly
• Appropriately handle, communicate and exchange sensitive and confidential information
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by the team leader and according to business needs.
  

What skills and experience do you need?

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience in a customer service-related position
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency of Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Available to work various shifts including days, evenings; nights; weekends and holidays.
