What’s in it for you?

• Pay Rate: $19-hr
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Must be able to work 12 hr rotational shifts days and nights

What does a Security Guard do?

• Assist clinical staff members with checking ID’s and vaccine passports
• Enforce safety procedures and standards
• Helping visitors find their way around the hospital
• Completing daily reports
• Monitoring CCTV systems.
• Responding as necessary to assist and support Community Peace officers
• Preventative patrols, including foot and/or mobile patrol of exterior and interior perimeters
  

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Security License
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Six month to one year of security experience
• Some Health Care sites require a N95 mask to be fit tested, which will require no facial hair for those working on site. Please note, if you are unable to remove your facial hair, you will not be selected for this site
• Strong de-escalation abilities and problem-solving mindset
• Emergency or Standard first aid is an asset
