We are currently seeking to fill the Project Coordinator position in the Administration department at our Vancouver office.

Objectives of this role

  • Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
  • Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities
  • Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices
  • The project coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels. The position will include working closely with the company’s engineering staff and management group, as well as clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with the deadlines and requirements
  • Track project deliverables, performance, and progress
  • Serve as a point of communication between company teams and external resources
  • Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Assign and monitor resources effectively
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Associate degree (or equivalent) in Project Management / Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Business Administration or other relevant field
  • Minimum 1 year of construction-related industry experience
  • Experience in project coordination
  • Experience in coordinating teams and clients
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
