This position will be responsible for protecting the PepsiCo trademark by ensuring the Operational Capability of the Moncton facility though top-of-the-line operation of the machines under his/her supervision. The position is based in the Moncton Manufacturing Facility.

HOURS OFWORK:

  • Hours of work are 3X12 Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Saturday, Sunday, Monday
  • This position is subject to change depending on business needs as per the collective bargaining agreement.
RATE OF PAY:
  • Rate of pay is $25.60/hour. This posting is a weekend shift position.
TASKS (not limited to):
  • To operate equipment safely and productively in accordance with established procedures
  • To maintain equipment in a satisfactory condition for safe operation
  • To maintain equipment in a like new state by following the TPM principles
  • To have an active role in line improvement meetings and projects (TPM)
  • To maintain equipment at its optimum operating efficiency
  • To supervise and ensure the smooth running of operations
  • To complete daily production/quality documents as required per role.
  • To maintain a tidy, clean and salubrious working area.
  • To perform any other tasks deemed relevant to the role.
  • To coach, mentor, train and develop team and individuals
  • To be able to navigate/ use Company’s data management platforms
  • To ensure adherence and compliance with quality standards in relation to production
  • To follow all GMP’s & operational pre-requisite programs
  • To perform any other tasks as directed by managers and supervisors
  • To perform cleaning tasks
  • To perform Clean In Place (CIP) Sanitation cycles

Qualifications/Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Must demonstrate mathematical aptitude.
  • Dependable self- starter requiring minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrate attendance and a sense of urgency
  • Willing to be involved in continuous improvement to improve the quality of the product.
  • Demonstrate computer competency
  • Must be able to lift/ carry 45-60 lbs frequently.
  • Must be able to push pull 50 lbs frequently
  • Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime as required
  • Must be able to work with chemicals
