We are hiring for a full time/ part time position as a Hotel Receptionist at the Howard Johnson Winnipeg West. We are a full service hotel with 43 guest rooms, Bar & grill, VLTs, and A Retail Beer Store. We pride ourselves on providing a great place to work with advancement and full time opportunities. The Role is as Follows:

-Attend to all guests need and wants. Provide excellent customer service

-Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address, and credit information. Promote the Wyndham Preferred Guest Program and provide recognition and benefits to all present members.

-Accept payment for guests’ accounts both at the time of registration. Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Cash checks and exchange currency for guests.

-Issue key to and control entrance of safety deposit boxes. Post miscellaneous charges as requested.

-Sell market items

-Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner items as well as beverages to our guests who wish to relax in our lobby.

-Complete Night Audit

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $13.00-$14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:
