POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Must complete estimating/planning for general site civil services, including excavation & backfill, utility tie-ins, crane pad construction, road maintenance, snow clearing and landscaping services in accordance with company and client best practices, and must complete estimating/planning for assigned peers as required in support of client goals and objectives using consistent approach and package procedures as jointly developed.
• Strong SAP experience required
• Primavera experience is an asset
• Candidate shall have at a minimum C.E.T. designation or 5 years’ experience in a related field
• Petrochemical facility experience an asset
• Must work closely with client team(s) and customer resources in estimating/planning/scheduling of work, and engineering packages.
• Ensure job plans are as efficient as possible, always with full consideration given to safety and quality.
• Have a profound understanding of site safety and quality policies and procedures to ensure they are considered and integrated with job plans.
• Incorporate outside contractor’s procedures/possible chemical use information to assist in job work, as required.
• Ensure detailed packages are electronically filed in appropriate location.
• Review packages and job plans upon completion to ensure they are updated and accurate for next execution.
• Ensure redline packages are updated in planning files/PMs and information forwarded to proper department.
• Work with multiple disciplines and outside contractors as required to determine and ensure correct job scope and material requirements.
• Request estimates from outside contractors and provide to customer for review.
• Develop task lists for plans as required.
• Participate in planning meetings as required by the customer.
• Lead crews in field during high activity or emergency work and support Quinn field leadership as required during work phases (Prework, Execution, Postwork).
• Attend toolbox and safety meetings with discipline group.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Proven ability of basic knowledge of all trade requirements in a multi-skilled environment/specific knowledge of trade(s) being supported.
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints, P&ID’s, and ISO’s.
• Possess above average interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Competent in material take offs and procurement.
• General knowledge of civil equipment would be an asset.
• Possess prior experience in estimating and planning.
• Possess prior experience in leading crew(s) in a plant maintenance environment
• Possess above average computer utilization skills (E.g. Microsoft office programs)
• Knowledge of plant maintenance and material management SAP modules an asset.
