Traffic Control Person (TCP) - Bridgewater

Frontline Traffic Services is looking to recruit 2 people as Traffic Controllers (TCP) to join our team in the Bridgewater area! The hottest days of the summer seem to be behind us, and we need full-time Traffic Control People to help support our customers through the fall. In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites in and around the Bridgewater area. We even pick you up and drive you home from work! Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification training available!

Requirements:

• Able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Great communication skills, willing & able to work in a team environment.
• Comfortable work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
• Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
• Lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with placing signs, barricades and traffic cones in work areas.
• Communicate with other TCP in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
• Be responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists through work areas.
• Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
• Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
• Follow instructions given by TWS or site foreman.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
