Frontline Traffic Services Is Now Recruiting Traffic Control Personnel!

Job Description:

Frontline Traffic Services is now recruiting Traffic Control Persons (TCP) and Temporary Workplace Signers (TWS) to start working with us. This position is for year around, full time work on a contract for the next 3 years! In this exciting role you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sits with the use of a stop/slow paddle, in and around the South Shore area.

· We offer competitive wages starting at $13.50/hour for TCP and $17/hour for TWS

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assist with placing signs, barricades and traffic cones in work areas.

· Communicate with other TCP in workplace to regulate traffic safely

· Be responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists through work areas.

· Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.

· Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.

· Follow instructions given by TWS or site foreman

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.

· Must be reliable and punctual

· Must have good communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.

· Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.

· Must be comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.

· Must be comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.

· Must have valid certification or be willing to obtain
