First Nations University of Canada invites applications for the position of Student Workers for various departments, to build professional skills to enter the workforce, interacting with staff and stakeholders, and reporting to the Director of the respective departments.

Duties:

Reporting to the Director of the respective department, this employment opportunity the student is responsible for, but is not limited to the following:
  • Provide confidential administrative support to the respective department.
  • Manage phone calls and general inquiries at the reception desks as back-up for Administrative Assistants.
  • Assist with the development of activities and events for the Summer, Fall, and Winter semesters.
  • And other Administrative tasks as directed by the Director and/or Supervisor as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent and must be a FNUniv student.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Abilty to speak a First Nations Language would be an asset.

Hourly Pay Rate: ($14.14 - $19.34)
