Here is a preview of your day-to-day:

• 
  Interpret technical specifications, fusion plans and drawings;
• Perform installation and opening of boxes (aerial and underground) according to customer standards;
• Prepare cables;
• Splice and maintain cables and optical fibers;
• Splice and maintain cables and optical fibers; Perform fusion of optical fibers (inside or outside);
• Perform tests and analyze results (OTRD and posemeter);
• Climb poles and ladders to perform work at heights and/or in confined spaces.

A summary of the skills required to be successful in this position:

• 
  Have 3 to 5 years of FTTH experience;
• Hold a valid class G driver’s license;
• Excellent manual skills;
• Be comfortable working at heights (aerial platform or ladder) and outdoors;
• Be perfectly comfortable with reading plans;
• Have a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy;
• Have the concern of a job well done;
• Interest in travelling and working outdoors;
