We are currently staffing the following positions:

Complex Repair Operator

SMT Operator

QC Inspector

Mechanical Assembly Operator

1. COMPLEX REPAIR OPERATOR

Responsibilities:
  • Replace complex components on Circuit Card Assemblies including BGA, LGA, fine pitch and small architecture (0201 & 01005)
  • Hand solder SMT and through-hole parts onto boards
  • Adherence to ESD processes
Expectations:
  • Good verbal communication skills in English needed to report issues
  • Understanding of IPC standards (IPC-A-610G)
  • Ability to interpret BOMs, assembly diagrams and other build documentation
  • Ability to solder complex PCBs, use a microscope and soldering/de-soldering equipment
Work Experience:
  • 3+ years’ experience (including at minimum 1 year of BGA rework)

2. SMT OPERATOR

Responsibilities:
  • Setting up / operating SMT equipment to manufacture complex electronic products following drawings, procedures and other process documentation to a high quality and in a highly productive manner
  • Attention to detail and understanding of SMT quality standards (IPC-A-610) to perform SMT in-process inspection
  • Use of PC-based software tools on the SMT equipment to maintain tooling database
  • Interface with Engineering and Management personnel to report issues and relay potential process improvements
  • Load / unload feeders
  • Attention to control of inventory processes
  • Awareness of PCB handling processes, ESD practices and IPC-610 standards
Work Experience:
  • 1 years’ experience running SMT equipment (knowledge of JUKI a definite asset)

3. QC INSPECTOR

Responsibilities:
  • To be part of the Quality team and support Incoming, In process and Final Quality Inspections.
  • Performs visual inspection of electronic card and sub-assemblies, and systems or units to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.
  • Inspection of CCA Assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards to ensure items are conforming to specifications.
  • Enters all quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.
  • Works with appropriate personnel to address defects and non-conforming items.
  • Accurately completes all administrative activities associated with quality inspection.
  • Assists with the disposition of all non-conforming materials/product.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Safe handling of electronic assemblies.
  • Familiarity with standards relating to CCA assemblies (IPC-A-610) and differences in classifications.
  • Understanding of Cosmetic Requirements and Quality Standards for finished assemblies
  • Interpretation of BOMs, Assembly Diagrams and other build documentation.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and manufacturing systems computer applications.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Problem Solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015/AS9100-D quality system standards.
  • Use of the following tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, schematics, touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly, point to point wiring; Inspection: bare board, loaded, components, cable/harness, microscope, measuring tools; Mechanical & Electrical Tools: measuring tools
Work Experience:
  • Preference given to those with 3+ years’ experience within a electronics Manufacturing Inspection role

4. MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY OPERATOR

Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical integration of electronic assemblies into systems and chassis including prep work for enclosures, sub-assemblies, cables, etc.
Expectations:
  • Awareness handling electronic assemblies
  • Operating knowledge of mechanical assembly tools
  • Understanding of torque requirements
  • Understanding of Cosmetic Requirements and Quality Standards for finished assemblies
  • Understanding of top level BOMs and mechanical assembly diagrams
  • Good verbal communication skills in English needed to report issues

Responsibilities:
