Sansom Equipment LimitedSansom Equipment Limited is the leading distributor and service provider for pumps, generators, blowers, valves, VFDs, Magnetic Flowmeters, Instrumentation, Chemical Injection Pumps and packaged engineered systems for industrial and municipal applications across Eastern Canada.
We are currently looking for a Service Writer to join our professional team in our Truro, Nova Scotia branch. This position will interact with customers and our dealer network to provide information in response to inquiries on parts, products, and services in addition to resolving complaints and sales development responsibilities with Industrial, Municipal and Commercial end user account groups within the province of Nova Scotia.
Responsibilities shall include:
- Responsible for Creating and Managing Work Order Data within our business software
- Booking and scheduling all in-bound work.
- Assist with in-house fleet management record keeping and maintenance scheduling
- Compile quotes for both internal fleet repairs and external customer repairs
- Receiving and placing customer service telephone calls and email inquiries with speed and accuracy
- Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns efficiently and professionally
- Prepare customer invoicing and annual contract service and billing
- Paperwork filing and organization
- Resolving customer complaints in a collaborative manner to provide innovative solutions
- Data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer problems
- Centralized receiving of phone call inquiries and forwarding to the appropriate personnel
- Managing the relationships of a large portfolio of existing clientele within a territory
- Relevant education and/or experience in a similar role or trade
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient and accurate data entry skills are essential
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Capable of working independently daily in a structured, professional environment
- Ability to receive and manage diverse inquiries in a professional and prompt manner
- Knowledgeable of the regions industrial / municipal clientele would be considered an asset
- Strong work ethic and desire to to satisfy the immediate needs of our customers
- Excellent computer literacy
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Other duties are required by Service and assigned by Management
