Service Champion Team Lead Position Summary:

The Service Champion Team Lead will oversee their team during their various transactions occurring between the customers, Operations, Business Management and Finance. They will provide direction and instructions to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed where it relates to this position, while also managing and coordinating workloads to amongst their team to assist with work/life balance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Take direction and fulfill responsibilities from the Finance Operations Manager.
  • Work closely with Team Leads for all scheduling and paperwork requirements.
  • Review and maintain the accuracy and ensure completeness of all paperwork prior to billing (POs, estimates, quotes, sales orders, etc.)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Create and track the paper flow within branches.
  • Assign and prioritize customer jobs (call ins, scheduled or sales requested).
  • Review work orders to ensure accuracy in accordance with customer and company requirements.
  • Ensure validity of data input and integrity of information is properly recorded in the VeeBase system.
  • Manage MSA’s ERP system setup, track and communicate new and expired MSA’s with direct reports and Business Development team.
  • Handle and manage questions from their direct reports and customers regarding procedures, products, and issues that may arise regarding scheduling and paperwork.
  • Adhere to daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements as established by the VP, Finance.
  • Participate in daily toolbox meetings.
  • Prepare job packages for Custom Submissions and acceptance at US border crossing for US customers – both incoming and outgoing.
  • Ensure parts consumed in service work are accurately reflected on invoice.
  • Work and collaborate with Team lead - Inventory/Purchasing to report stock issues.
  • Act as the administrative point of contact between the internal and external clients.
  • Initiate Nonconformance reports where any product or services do not meet Purchase Order, Contract, Work Order, or Industry regulated requirements.
  • Demonstrate and emphasize safety conscience attitude while building a culture of trust and accountability.
  • Manage and delegate workload among the branches and the other Service Champions.
  • Assist with evaluation and disciplinary action in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Travel to other branches to assist with workloads / training as needed.
  • Additional duties may be defined within the scope of this position.

  • Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), SalesPad, VeeBase, Great Plains Dynamics.
  • High School or equivalent educational background

Salary: $62,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
