(100% remote, hiring anywhere in North America)

This role will be supporting R&D Engineering functions of VMware Tanzu product line. We are building SaaS product teams. As a Technical Sourcer you will be responsible for building sourcing strategies, leveraging market data, finding/engaging talent, and pre-screening interested candidates. This team is heavily focused on sourcing passive talent.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

The R&D Talent Discovery team is challenged with building the teams who build the future products on VMware Tanzu. These roles encompass cutting-edge technology and methodologies (i.e. Kubernetes, Golang, Multi-cloud, etc.). We must become market experts that are able to articulate talent availability.

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

I’m passionate about developing my team and empowering them to be creative. I operate with empathy and do my best to consider all perspectives when solving problems. We collaborate as a team when making changes, this is a big part of our work as VMware scales in the SaaS space. Teamwork is super important to me, we all have value no matter experience or scope of role. Building a team culture where we work together is very important to me.

Where is this role located?

Remote: This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable. You will be expected to live within 0-4 time zones of the primary location.
