Main focus area of this position is to ensure Samsung has the best order management systems and processes in place to allow the timely and accurate processing of orders received from external customers and internal customers. All orders must be processed in compliance with Samsung order management policies. The Sr. Specialist is responsible for creating and developing policies and procedures for new programs ensuring accurate and efficient processing of orders across divisions. This position is responsible for implementing, training and executing effective and standardized programs across all divisions. Expert knowledge of SAP, EDI and a keen understanding of process mapping through all systems will be key to success in this position.

This position will ensure systems and orders are up-dated with most current information (including pricing, sku accuracy and quantities) and resolve data discrepancies with both internal and external customers ensuring issues are rectified in a timely manner.

Role And Responsibilities
  • Setup process on new business, including system setup, testing, SOP creation, R&R defination, training, etc
    • Responsible for all system implementation of new business(such as new customers, model mapping and maintenance of orders), testing reliability of system operation.
    • Create manuals and standard operating procedures, and provide training user
  • Lead internal project related with order management
    • Monitor current process, catch pain point, or find issue at front, work with sales team and MIS to make improvement to avoid potential risk
    • Initiate and implement improvement projects in areas such as pricing block releasing, RA process, solve EP and Sales Portal issue, Customer ordering implementation projects
    • Develop and implement enhancements of order management systems ensuring efficient flow of orders
    • Keep updating operating manual, steamline process, recommend best practices and implementation for newly introduced sales programs and procedures.
  • Resolve escalated order issues from sales teams and customers
    • Ongoing communication with SECA sales representatives and customers regarding order issues
    • Planning & processing Standard Operational process for internal marketing program orders and sales incentive program. For example consignment/FOC/ Barter sales order and corporate program orders
    • Reviewing return requests with internal departments for clear resolution (Credit, logistic, MIS and Sales teams)
    • Follow up with customers on special case of Returns and to try and resolve and save the sale with customer
  • Assist in training third party BOC partner on processes and procedures and to ensure that the correct processes and procedures are being performed and followed
  • Responsible for minimizing Compliance Charges and represent BOC team in post-audit reviews as needed
Education

Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education and or equivalent work experience is required
Knowledge
  • Customer relationship management skills
  • Expert knowledge of SAP (SD Module and MM Module) required
  • Expert knowledge of EDI setting and monitoring
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products
Experience
  • Requires 3+ years experience of system management
  • Requires 2+ years of improving processes on order management
