  • To ensure implementation of agreed Supply Chain (Procurement & Contracts) procedures, processes, systems, and tools for successful delivery of the Supply Chain scope on the project.
  • Leads a team of buyers, expeditors, supplier quality, traffic & logistics, material specialist and contracts specialist assigned to ensure delivery of materials, supplies, equipment, and services to meet project requirements within budget and on schedule.
  • Develop and implement Project Procurement Strategy, Project Procurement Plan and Contracts Plan.
  • Develop and implement procedures for purchasing, expediting, supplier quality, traffic & logistics, materials management and contracts within the Worley governance requirements, contractual requirements with the customer and customer’s governance requirements.
  • Liaises with the Project Management team and is the primary procurement interface between the Customer, the project, and the supplier community.
Responsibilities
  • Comply to Worley framework.
  • Comply with Worley and project procurement policies and procedures and act within the limits of delegated authority. Ensure that assigned team members follow policies and procedures, have proper levels of delegation and act strictly within them. Ensures compliance with Worley Code of Conduct.
  • Prepare project specific procurement and contracts procedures based on Worley Management System to address identified and potential risks and customer and contractual requirements. Prepare the project’s procurement and contracts strategy, implementation / execution plans and methods of dealing with the customer’s requirements.
  • Participates in the project risk assessment workshops and outlines the procurement related risks to the project. In collaboration with other project disciplines, prepares the project procurement and contracts plan to include appropriate mitigation for the risks. Amend and update the project procurement and contracts plan as required in changing circumstances.
  • Establish and maintain close relations and communication with the customer to ensure procurement is being executed as the contract requires and customer expects, while protecting the Worley interests. Maintain and manage the procurement and contracts reporting to and from the customer.
  • Counsel, assist and direct subordinate staff in accomplishing the project procurement objectives. Identify, develop, and implement training to enable staff to more efficiently and effectively perform assigned functions. Encourage and promote innovation in obtaining procurement objectives.
  • Establish field procurement and contracts administration capability to support construction management, if applicable. Ensure proper staffing, formal means of transferring work to site and oversight of field activities.
What You Will BringTechnical and Industry Experience:Job Specific Knowledge
  • Supply Chain experience on EPC / EPCM projects at Worley or other comparable organizations.
  • Good understanding of the EPC / EPCM industry functional systems, processes, and tools.
  • Familiar with the system network used in Engineering, Procurement, Contracts and Construction.

RequiredEducation – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
  • Recognized post-secondary or university education, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent management qualification with 20 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Procurement and Contracts in EPC industry.
  • Management skills including teamwork, leadership and working with diverse and remote teams.
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, including ability to communicate with / train personnel with varying degrees of skills
  • Knowledge of EPC procurement and contract practices
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, cross functional, multi-location team environment.
Preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Mining, Metals and Minerals and Infrastructure sectors.
