Our team and what we’ll accomplish together

The Workforce Management (WFM) team provides a suite of applications used by 4,000 Field Technicians across Canada to schedule, receive and update their various appointments. These technicians represent the face of TELUS to our customers every day, and provide critical and strategic value in ensuring the success of TELUS and its customers.

We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support our strategic suite of applications to unlock the transformational benefits of moving to the cloud, leveraging the latest technologies, platforms, and analytics tools to drive the simplification of our Workforce Management processes to better enable our stakeholders across the TELUS team.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and translate business requirements and user stories into functional and technical requirements
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Work in a team environment on new implementations, enhancements, integrations as well as support of existing applications
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Stakeholders on project timelines, resourcing and budgetary requirements
  • Proactively bring expertise and creative solutions to improving processes, team effectiveness, digitization avenues, and productivity
  • Demonstrate leadership by offering guidance on design and infrastructure, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states to deliver solutions
  • Ask questions with the ultimate goal of understanding end-to-end processes which will help to improve and/or automate sustainable processes

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • You have solid Business Systems Analysis experience for 5+ years in your most recent role within a major industry such as Telecommunications, Energy, Finance, Government, etc
  • You are highly skilled in planning and time management, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a rapidly changing environment
  • You are an expert written and verbal communicator with an obsessive eye for quality
  • You are known to manage high volume workloads while maintaining great levels of quality and attention to detail
  • You are able to learn quickly from success or failure, apply sound judgment, and get things done all while navigating through change, ambiguity, and high pressure environments
  • Skilled at translating business needs into technical solutions while challenging the status quo
  • Build strong relationships across cross functional teams, customers, stakeholders and external partners in order to achieve successful outcomes for everyone

Great-to-haves

  • Experience working with Workforce Management teams and systems
  • Experience with ClickSchedule, Salesforce Field Service Lightning (SFS) and Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology - Scrum/Kanban
  • Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Soap UI, G-Suite, SQL
