As we continue to grow and provide quality professional transportation services, we are recruiting for a Safety Coordinatorto join our Calgary team.
In order to meet the demands of the transportation industry, we are looking for a results driven individual with the following qualifications.

SAFETY COODINATOR – CALGARY

Detailed Job Description

As Safety Coordinator you will be communicating with drivers and staff on all aspects of safety. You are ready to face the challenges of the day – and ready to make change to enhance the customer experience by monitoring driver performance.

Safety role:

• Provide prospective drivers an Employment Application Package
• Review Employment Package upon receipt, validating information verifying driver’s abstract and previous employment. Complete reference checks. Schedule Driver’s Road Tests
• Maintain of Driver Files ensuring credentials are current.
• Ensure e-screen drug and alcohol testing performed and monitored for drivers
• Monitor and maintain Qtracs/Elog System assist drivers with compliance, editing issues
• Obtain Owner Operator monthly maintenance reports and 6 month Inspection reports

· Ensuring all Permits and Operating Authorities are current and relevant.

· Submit weekly reports to Head Office for all Incidents, Accidents, Claims and Near Misses.

• Schedule driver meeting with the manager to discuss any incidents or accidents related issues.

Job Requirements:

· Excellent communication skills

· Good computer skills – TMW, Excel, Outlook

· Ability to multi task

· Available for after-hours service calls.

· Sense of urgency to expedite repairs and recruiting.
