Job Description

Caliber Coffee Roasters is a local coffee roaster with a specialty coffee & gear store located in Regina, SK. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and hard-working part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will welcome and assist customers, determine their needs, make recommendations, and process sales through our POS system. You will strive to make our customers feel valued. You will learn the features and benefits of our coffee and products to ensure our customers have the information they require to make a satisfactory purchase.

Job Duties:

• Assisting customers
• Opening & closing of the business
• Preparing of & serving coffee for sampling services both on and of site in accordance with food safe protocol
• Participation in weekly internal tastings
• Additional responsibilities include daily and weekly cleaning, stock counting and quality checking, restocking shelves, and following company policy. We expect our staff to be punctual, honest, energetic, and intuitive on the job.
• Other duties as required

Requirements

The ideal candidate:

• You must love and drink coffee. Some knowledge surrounding coffee and tea, such as different brew methods, would be an asset.
• You have at least one year of experience in Retail and Customer Service as well as excellent communication skills and a friendly, confident attitude.
• You are willing to learn about and practice brewing techniques and processes.
• You are adaptive, detail-oriented, self-motivated.
• You can follow instructions diligently and work in a team while possessing strong independent working habits.

Availability

This position will be approximately 15-20 hours per week, with the successful candidate having a minimum availability of 3 days including Saturday. Our hours of operation are Monday-Saturday from 10am-5:30pm. The successful candidate will hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean criminal record check.
