About the role

Provide nursing services in community healthcare clinics in remote communities across Yukon!

In this role you will work to an expanded scope of practice to provide support to residents in remote communities. Working alongside another Registered Nurse you will manage chronic healthcare concerns, respond to urgent care needs and support patients of all ages. You will provide health education, make referrals to Specialist services and respond to emergency situations.

Calian will cover the cost of your license and provide a non-taxable daily living allowance. Flights and private accommodations are provided to you at no cost.

Two days of training will be provided in Whitehorse upon arrival in Yukon.

The qualifications

• Eligible to be licensed with the Yukon Registered Nurse Association

  
  



• Must have previous experience working as an RN with an expanded scope of practice in a remote or isolated community

  
  



• BLS

  
  



• ACLS

  
  



• TNCC or ITLS

  
  



• Driver’s license
