The Opportunity
Reporting to the Dental Center Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and customer focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team at Moose Jaw, Sk. The Dental Hygienist will have a passion for patient experience and assisting in improving the oral health of our region.

What it is like to work at Altima?
Here’s what you’ll do day to day:
  • Ensure that patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goal for comprehensive oral health.
  • Consistently meets Altima’s accepted clinical standards of practice requirements for Oral Cancer Screenings, periodontal disease management and periodic Comprehensive Oral Examinations.
  • Provide findings and, recommend a course of treatment and work in partnership with patients and families to achieve desired appropriate health outcomes.
  • Co-create a hygiene care plan using agreed upon interventions.
  • Regularly monitor and adjust each plan to ensure goals are achieved and the plan remains appropriate to the patient’s condition and/or abilities.
  • Support all departments in the dental centre and the Altima group by aligning individual contributions with those of the team and group.
  • Share needed information with others in a timely and efficient manner.
Here’s what we are looking for:
  • Successfully completed a recognized dental hygiene program
  • A minimum of 1-2 years working experience as a Hygienist
  • Current registration with the SDHA
  • Current CPR and First Aid training
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
