The Senior QA Automation Specialist plays a critical role in building the hardware and software test automation infrastructure and frameworks used in Rockports testing environment. As a member of the QA team, you will directly influence the development of automated test cases and build tools to test our Direct Interconnect and Interconnect Management solutions. You will learn leading edge networking technology and contribute to the hardening of our software through continuous integration to build a robust, reliable, and scalable test automation framework from the ground up!

What You Will Do

• Develop automated test cases in Python and Pytest
• Contribute and improve test automation framework and team processes
• Develop new ways to automate testing and test performance
• Investigate and fix automated test case failures as part of regression testing
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, presentations, and mentoring junior team members
• Create tools to enhance the testing and benchmarking of data center networking architectures
  

What You Bring

• 5+ years of both hardware and software automation testing experience in a Linux-based environment
• Extensive experience developing automated test frameworks and test cases in Python and Pytest
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and Layer 2/3 protocols (TCP/UDP, IPv4, routing, etc.) and networking tools (ping, iperf, tcpdump, etc.)
• Must be eligible for government security clearance
