New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to help our client with a large integration project. The Project Manager will be responsible for following our client’s structured project management process including Project Charter, budget, and status deliverables. This is a part-time engagement.

Responsibilities

• Report on performance, budget, schedule, meeting minutes, decisions, outcomes, risks and any other project reporting requirement
• Provide weekly project progress/status reporting to stakeholder groups and project
• Deliver results as measured by project milestones and key deliverables and integrate into the culture and environment of our client’s Project team
• Ensure proper development, test and production environments are setup and aligned with best practices
• Work with internal and external vendors to configure and install necessary software
• Document all findings and recommendations in a central area accessible to all project stakeholders
  

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management
• Experience working on large health care integration initiatives/projects
• Experience working with provincial registries
• Experience working with UCI or Health Information Exchange
• Experience with Meditech, PARIS, Profile, Pharmanet
• Strong technical skills or IT background
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
