Position: Medical Specialist Office Assistant, “Plastic Surgery Associates”

Details: Plastic Surgeon located in Downtown Saskatoon looking for an enthusiastic and experienced team member.

The applicant must have at least two years’ experience in a medical office setting. Applicant must have experience-using ACCURO EMR.

Requirements:

• At least one year experience with Accuro EMR

• Proficiency in typing

• Experience in billing and reconciliation with MCIB

• Scheduling and organizational proficiency

Desired Requirements:

• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills

• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism

• Problem solving mentality, works well with a team environment and alone without supervision

Duties involved:

• Welcoming patients to office

• Scheduling patients for appointments, hospital clinics and operative procedures

• Billing medical services branch of Saskatchewan government, submission of billings, reconciliation of billings

• Confirming appointments

• Billing and scheduling for Workers Compensation Board patients

• Providing a positive and welcoming point of contact for patients

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 0800-0400pm.

Full time and part time hours are negotiable
