Primary Responsibilities:

· Provides assistance with routine care services, including hygiene and general well-being or residents;

· Ensures residents comfort and assists in various activities of daily living;

· Delivers great customer service through clear communication, follow-up and promotes mutual respect;

· Participates in maintaining resident’s autonomy and answering emergency calls as received.

Qualifications:

· Certification as a personal support worker or equivalent is required;

· Must be able to effectively communicate in English (written and spoken);

· Must possesses current First Aid certificate or willing to acquire;

· Must provide proof of TB screening and pass a vulnerable sector police check.
