Falcon Equipment is currently seeking aParts Assistantfor our Regina Branch located in Zehner, SK.

About the Opportunity:

The Parts Assistant is responsible to assist in maintaining an orderly department with parts stored in their proper locations for easy access, to ensure that stock levels are monitored to guarantee the inventory to be just-in-time and consistent with the requirements of the Service Department. They are accountable for the shipping and receiving of the orders, while maintaining a record for all purchases made. The Parts Assistant will assist in acting as Falcon’s first-line customer relations representative for all parts needs. They will also provide administrative and maintenance duties for the branch as required.

About the Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Prior experience in a heavy equipment environment
  • Heavy equipment parts knowledge a definite asset
  • Forklift certification an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments
  • Ability to weigh and measure items
  • Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
  • Computer literacy, including working skills of MS Office including e-mail
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
