Using your in-depth knowledge of the Official Languages Act, you’ll provide consulting, guidance and recommendations to advance FCC’s official languages maturity.
You’ll lead the design and implementation of official languages programs and initiatives, and work with partners to provide expertise on business initiatives. This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages.

What you’ll do:

• Research, design and implement official languages programs, initiatives, and action plans
• Monitor and evaluate initiatives to ensure outcomes are achieved
• Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships
• Provide expertise, direction and coaching to other business units
• Foster linguistic duality and an inclusive workplace

What you’ll need:

• In-depth knowledge of the Official Languages Act and related policies and directives
• A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, education or French literature and at least three years of experience in employment equity, diversity or inclusion (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• A solid understanding of change management concepts
• Ability to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages
